Welcome to MyFood From Germany.
This web-based information and communication platform provides in-depth information on food, nutrition, healthy eating, agriculture and culinary culture for all students (and their teachers) in the United States, Canada and Germany.
And, yes, students can acquire or improve their German (or English) language skills along the way.
In contrast to many other websites featuring food or language, MyFood From Germany is free of charge and commercial-free. This website is meant to be interactive and will thrive through the contributions of students and their teachers all over North America. All published authors will be acknowledged on this website.
Although MyFood From Germany is targeted specifically toward US and Canadian schools with German language programs (from elementary school to college), any school can benefit from its content. Ultimately, we hope this website will act as a common platform for students in the United States, Canada and Germany to interact with each other, help with language development and work on joint projects.
