Ground Meat Soup (Hackfleischsuppe) |

Ingredients:
This is what you need for 4 people:
1 seedless cucumber
2 tablespoons rapeseed oil
1 generous pound of mixed ground meat,beef and pork
2 teaspoons curry
3 cups vegetable stock
2 packages German cheese spread (3.5 oz. each)
scant 1 cup of heavy cream
salt
pepper
cherry tomato, bell pepper and chives as garnish
Preparation:
And this is how you get ready:
1. Peel and grate the cucumber.
2. Heat the rapeseed oil in a pan and lightly brown the ground meat.
3. Add the curry.
And this is how you make it:
1. In a stockpot bring the vegetable stock to a boil.
2. Add the grated cucumber and let it boil for about 5 minutes.
3. Add the cheese spread and stir until it's completely dissolved.
4. Add the cream and the ground meat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
6. As a finishing touch you may decorate the soup with a happy face made out of Tomato slices, strips of bell pepper and chopped chives.
