(Engels-Plätzchen)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup (50g) powdered sugar
5.3 oz (150g) plain marzipan
1 small egg
2 teaspoons flour
1/4 cup (50g) ground almonds
1/2 cup (100g) whole blanched almonds
1 egg yolk for coating
Preparation:
Preheat the oven at 350° F.
Combine powdered sugar, marzipan, egg yolk, flour and ground almonds until dough is smooth. Form little round balls. Cut almonds in half, place three halves on each ball, and brush with egg yolk. Place balls on cookie sheet lined with baking parchment.
Bake for 20 minutes.
