Germanfoods.org is hosted and managed by German Foods North America, an independent agency located in Washington DC. We work with consumers, suppliers, retailers, associations and governmental agencies in North America, Germany and German speaking countries with the mission to facilitate trade of food, beverages and agricultural products between the two transatlantic regions.

Amanda Bond-Thorley is a freelance writer based in Washington DC with over 15 years of in-depth work experience in the food exporting and retail industries. A British native, Amanda has lived and worked in Germany for more than 7 years and, thus, acquired a fondness for German cuisine and "Germuetlichkeit."

Christine Wezel worked as senior staff writer at Germany's leading food industry and grocery trade magazine "Lebensmittel Zeitung." She studied German and English literature and History at Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany and at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
